Livestock Biotechnology

Livestock biotechnology applies genomics, reproductive technology and gene editing to improve productivity, disease resistance and welfare in farm animals. It covers SNP-array based genomic selection (GBLUP, ssGBLUP), embryo technologies (IVF, cloning, sexed semen), and CRISPR-edited traits such as PRRS-resistance in pigs or hornless cattle.
